Becoming Bookish
My daughter, Berlin, in sock monkey pajamas surrounded by her Baby Einstein books this morning. She's finally caught the book bug. She tells me all about the pictures and letters she sees and demands to be read to constantly.
She's always loved the pictures but would NOT let me read to her (she'd actually get mad, little booger) so it makes me incredibly happy she's finally interested.
Now she gets mad when I stop. Oh, the extremes of toddlerhood.

I remember when I realized my daughter would be a bookworm and how warm I felt all over.

Thank you, Yat-Yee.

Ah, books! When our children discover our passion, it is such a special moment, isn't it???
SOOOO CUTE! :)
When my son was two he wouldn't let me read to him. Until one day when I made him sit and listen to The Monster at the End of this Book.
I had to read it five more times. :-)
