Strong work, Casey. Thanks!
Great post! Michael ROCKS!!!
I just saw him speak at an SCBWI conference and he was fabulous! As far as agent go - he'd be a great catch.
Casey,
I really appreciate your "Quotables" section. Very informative. Thanks. And, Kristi, I agree. Mr. Stearns does give helpful speeches at SCBWI events (some of his tips from the speech I heard are listed on his now defunct As the World Stearns blog).
Excellent interview--very informative. Thx
Great wealth of information here! Michael is adorable. Pretty entertaining speaker
love these posts!
I'm always impressed how you are able to take all this information and boil it down into an easy to read blurb. Wonderful!
There is a ton of valuable information on your blog. This is my first visit.
Thank you for your comments everyone. I'm glad you all enjoyed the spotlight!
Appreciated the post on Michael Sterns. Great blog.
FYI, I just read on the Upstart Crow blog that he's only accepting queries through conference submissions and client referrals.
Thanks Emily! He's on my list of profiles I need to update. I'll try to get to it soon.
Hi Casey,
Michael here (was looking for a link to something I did and this came up). I'm no longer taking on any clients whatsoever; that's why many people have never heard from me—other responsibilities are too great. I still manage the agency, sell our foreign rights, am the eminence grise for the agents here, and do all sorts of related tasks. But direct representation? No longer.
Thanks for the astonishingly thorough profile!
M.
Hi Michael,
Thanks for stopping by and letting me know. I'll take the profile down lest anyone think you're still representing authors.
All best,
Casey
