Congrats on the interviews, Casey! Nice to see you're getting some well-deserved publicity. :)
As for my Wednesday plans--I went to an event for women writers sponsored by She Writes last week, to discuss my short story collection with publicists, editors, and agents. All of them agreed that it would be good if I had a novel under my belt as well--and I realized that I DO--and it's really good so far! But I have to finish it!
So--I am now devoted to finishing at least the first draft--and preparing to go to London for the weekend (unrelated to the writing, but should be fun...) :)
Hope you have a great week and weekend!
Ooo, hopping over to read your interview now.
And I *would* plug my blog post--but it has a horrible and humiliating vlog in it, so I'd really rather people NOT watch it. (No really, nobody wants to see that people.) As for my plans for the day? Laying low. Hiding. Avoiding my comments section where all my followers will be making fun of me.. Oh, and writing. Of course that. ;)
Have I told you lately how much I appreciate the hard work you put into this site?
Today I'm going to try to stay dry and work on revisions of my MG.
Launched the first of a series of author interviews on my blog today. Take a peek, please! http://yascribe.blogspot.com/
Just read the interview, it was fantastic!!! Can't wait to see you in LA!
My latest blog post is an excerpt from my YA The Lion Awakens that I think shows how much the character has grown. Would love for you all to stop by and comment and share a snippet of your novel that shows character growth. Thanks Case for allowing us to post our blog entries on your site today. You're always awesome:) http://buffyswritezone.blogspot.com/
Thanks for the opportunity. It just happens that I posted the first of a series called "So you want to get an agent". http://alvor-daretodream.blogspot.com/
It's a few little things I've learned along the way. The fabulous part of it is, it works. In the next few days I'll be choosing which agent to sign with. I want to thank you for your resource in the Agent Spotlights. You've been a great help to me in my journey to getting an agent.
I'm doing homework today too... and as a reward for finishing it I've got a pepsi waiting in the fridge :D
I haven't posted anything today. Hm. Should probably do that.
Editing, editing, editing. It's due back on Monday and I'm swamped. So why am I visiting my favorite writing blog? Good question!
Hello Casey. I've been gone for awhile but I'm now back with my head in my book. I posted about the connection between BIC and getting W-I-D-E-R:) Vacation was definitely good for my sense of humor!
Nice interview, Casey!
I especially like your comments on taking time with your work; in fact, my latest post touches on that issue.

Casey is famous!!
Whoo hoo : )
Great interviews about the agent spotlights. They have so helpful to a lot of people! Including me!
Great interview, Casey - although now I want to know what agency you read for! :)
Casey--we are amidst a fabulous round of WIBIJ today--the scavenger hunt blog game runs through tomorrow at 1PM. People can win an award for best comment in our game, which takes place in the writing blogosphere. Everyone is invited to check it out. http://wibij.blogspot.com/2010/06/perky-bloggers-race-7-presented-by.html
Today, I'm hoping to do some revising, but it's not looking likely!
Awesome on the interviews!
Awesome on the prizes you won!
Awesome on...I hate you, you water hater :P
Great interview, Casey!
My latest blog post was about cover songs. (my wip is music related)
Think your blog is fantastic and you deserve the recognition you are getting. I blogged today about trying to settle down after the agent/book deal. It's a weird space to be in. Definitely would love to hear agents' advice to authors who've just sold their first book. Thanks, again, for your great site!
