Hey guys!
How was you weekend? Did you do anything for Halloween? The fam and I baked cookies and rice krispie treats, carved pumpkins, and went trick or treating. The kids are four and nearly two this year, so it's starting to get real fun for them. It was a nice weekend.
Info on the November WriteOnCon monthly event is up! On November 15th at 9 pm EST, we'll have Stephen Barbara of Foundry Literary + Media and his client Leila Sales, author of MOSTLY GOOD GIRLS, on the blog for a chat about the author-agent relationship. Please, start thinking up questions and plan to join us!
Also, you have just a bit more time to hop over to Ishta Mercurio's blog for a chance to win DUST CITY by Robert Paul. Her contest ends at midnight tonight so get over there! All you have to do is follow her blog and leave a comment naming your favorite fairytale.
Are there any contests or blog posts you'd like to plug? Leave them in the comments when you tell me how your weekend was!

Thanks for the linkage Lexcade and Steena!
My daughter's 13 so she went trick or treating with her friends alone. It was fun being home alone with my husband handing out candy. But 4 and the grade school years are so fun taking your kids out. Enjoy it.
The WriteOnCon event sounds great. Though it'll be hard to top the chat with Sara Megibow. It was awesome and I'd so love to have her as my agent. Sigh.
My husband and I spent the weekend with my mom in tennessee, went to see my best friend from high school I haven't seen in 25 yrs and am now on my way back to louisiana. Had a great weekend but missed keeping up with my writing blogs I follow! Looking forward to the 15th!
Thanks for sharing your blogs, Peter. How do you manage so many?!
Natalie, some of my favorite Halloween memories are from when I was allowed to go out trick or treating just with friends. I bet your daughter had a blast!
The chat with Sara was definitely fantastic! This one has a different focus, though, and I think it's going to be super informative.
That sounds like a nice weekend, Dana! Glad to hear you'll be joining us on the 15th!
Trick-or-treating was fun. Mine are 4 and 6. We carved a pumpkin and roasted the seeds (all 413 of them). Yes, my son made me count them!
I'm giving away TWO Book Markets for Children's Writers on my blog: http://www.christiewrightwild.blogspot.com. Contest begins on Friday Nov. 5th and runs for ten days through the 15th.
Thanks for posting this, Casey! I was so excited to be able to offer Robert Paul Weston's book DUST CITY - actually, I wish I had a copy for everyone who entered, but it would break the bank.
Sounds like you had a fun Halloween, Christie!! Thanks for sharing your giveaways!
You're welcome, Ishta!
