Thanks, Casey, for posting this profile =)
Always nice to discover new agents on the rise. Thanks, Casey!
Lauren sounds like an awesome agent. Thanks Casey for another great spotlight.
Thanks again for your research and support, Casey!
Great interview, lots of info. Thank you Casey!
Thanks everyone!
Thanks for another great spotlight. It's always interesting to read about the agents who are just starting out.
Always great to hear from a new agent!
But in her interview she says she reps science fiction, but then later it says she doesn't rep science fiction. Which is right?
Charlie,
She's no longer accepting sci-fi. She was considering it last year but has narrowed her interests a little.
Nice to know, thanks!
Great post! Bookends, LLC is a great agency. Thanks for sharing.
Your blog is so awesome, Casey. I always check here before querying anyone. Amazing resource.
Just one update: Lauren's blog has moved to Wordpress: http://slushpiletales.wordpress.com/
It's been a long time since I've looked at anything agenty, and this was really interesting. Thanks for taking to time to put this excellent profile together.
Another great Spotlight. Thanks for pointing out the Query Dice series on her blog.
Your blog is a great resource Casey - thanks!
Did I link the wrong one somewhere? Will find and fix, thank you!
Thanks for the spotlight. I queried her the other day . . . before I discovered her slow response time. Even for requests, you're looking at about a 3 month wait (according to QT data).
great post like on facebook fan page Thanks 4 share
Lauren Ruth has disappeared from the BookEnds website. Is she no longer agenting?
She's no longer agenting. She's now editing/publishing for Entangled.
I should add a link for that, from LR's blog:
