Today I have a tip from Deborah Blumenthal who you're likely to remember from my March interview featuring her latest YA novel, THE LIFEGUARD. I recently completed a new young adult novel and I sent it to my Kindle so that I could give it a last read while I was out of the house. I was amazed at the number of errors I picked up on the Kindle that I somehow missed when I was reading it on my lap top.

    Great modern way to proof, changing the format, like printing it or reading out loud.

    Someday I'll get a Kindle... But I can see how this would be helpful. I still need to print my manuscripts to give them a good read, but the paper waste kills me.

    I agree with Nicole. I've never edited on my kindle but changing the format can definitely be helpful! :D
